Slacking on the blogging this month!! I am 32 weeks preggo and definitely feeling it! This little boy is sitting really low (compared to my girls) and right on my sciatic nerve (OUCH!).
I have been immensely enjoying this pregnancy, but now I am just uncomfortable. I also have borderline high blood pressure and swell up really easily, so I am on “modified bed rest”, which means I basically have to try to take it as easy as possible but don’t have to stay in bed all day…thank goodness! I think I would go crazy being on strict bed rest!
We took the girls shopping early this month because we realized that Aspen had absolutely NO summer clothes! They both absolutely LOVE to shop so of course they both had to get SOMETHING new! When we got home from the store they just had to put on a little fashion show!
The Friday before Easter Sunday we had a little family get-together for the kiddos at George Washington Memorial Park and had a little Easter egg hunt. It was a lot of fun and the kids had so much fun playing with their cousins!
This is at a little house that is on the walking trail at the park. Kids are so funny!
Daddy and the girls got a little carried away while coloring Easter eggs. I think more paint ended up on faces and hands that it did on eggs! We later found out that this particular paint does NOT come off of skin easily! Ooops!
Aspen is no longer taking naps so that she is used to it when school starts in August. So, one day during nap time she brought me all of her hair clippies and wanted me to make her hair pretty…with ALL of her clips!
Then it was my turn…
Daddy built the girls a “castle” in their bunkbed and rigged up a hanger for the DVD player so they could watch a movie in their castle. They thought it was the greatest thing in the world!
We took the girls to PetLand to play with a puppy for a little while one day and the girls got distracted by the bunnies. Aspen held hers close to her chest like a pro…
And Hadley’s decided it liked it better up on her shoulder!
Aspen has become quite the adventurer and loves to be outside doing anything! Her most recent adventure was to climb the tree in our front yard…
Somehow she ended up with dirt smeared all over her face and we both thought it was hilarious!
Brevin was home the opening week of turkey season and played outside with the daycare kids. The kids had a blast and I think Brevin had a little fun too :)
We go over to aunt Trudy’s a lot and one of the girls' favorite thing to do there is to go see the horses!
We took the girls to the Kansas City Temple Open House this month too. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take any pictures while we were there :( The girls thought that it was just the coolest place in the whole world! I absolutely agree with them!! The temple is absolutely beautiful and feels just like home. My most favorite and memorable part of the whole experience was having my little family all in the Celestial Room together. The Spirit was incredibly strong!
Here are some random videos/pictures from this month:
These are the little monkeys at the Gentry, Arkansas Safari. They are so fun to play with!
Aspen learning how to jump rope with Daddy:
This is Gma and Gpa White’s new dog, Gus, with his collar fastened around his waist. Apparently he didn’t like it very much! (This was all Brevin’s doing!):
Brevin and Jordan cleaned out the gutters at Gma and Gpa White’s house and the girls wanted to get on the roof with them.
Daddy and Hadley being silly at Arby’s for lunch one Saturday.
Thanks for reading!!
