March 2011

So, this month has been somewhat less exciting (or photogenic) than the last few months for whatever reason. Not a whole lot went on this month. I had my birthday on the 6th. Brevin and I decided to go out to eat at El Charro for my birthday...BIG MISTAKE! We didn't get a picture of it, but they put a big sombrerro on my head and sang to me while smashing a plate FULL of whipped cream into my face and all over in my hair! I was pretty mad at first. Good thing I didn't have plans to go anywhere afterwards!! Needless to say, I will not be going back to El Charro for a birthday dinner anytime soon. This is a picture of the sombrerro that I wore, but Brevin put it on and I took a pic of him. I already had wiped my face off and didn't want to be any more humiliated for the night!
For St. Patrick's day we had a little party for the kids. We made leprechan hats and did a little leprechan hunt. Apparently they thought finding the little pictures of leprechans with fake gold taped to the back was pretty fun...they talked about it for weeks!

We have had some really nice weather a few days this month and the girls have just been dying to get outside in it, so we took them to the park one day (well, more than one day, but I just didn't take pictures the other times). Just up the hill from all of the equipment there are some volleyball courts that we decided would be fun to go play in the sand for a little while. The girls thought it was pretty funny to bury eachothers feet in the sand. I really want to take them to the beach sometime before they can pay for it themselves...LOL!

That is pretty much all that went on this month (that is all that I have pictures for anyways). I know...boring! I got some new daycare kids and am "full" now. Hopefully everyone sticks around and things keep going as smoothly as they have been. OH! Brevin and I watched the movie "You Again"...SUPER FUNNY...anyways, there was a quote from the movie that both of us just absolutely loved! "You can't help what happens in life, but you can control how you react to it." Just thought I would share :)
