This month was, in fact, a whirlwind. It went by entirely too fast. That is how life is anymore around here. There is just too much to do in the day and before you know it a whole year has gone by! Anyways, this month Aspen lost not just one, but BOTH of her top front teeth!
I think it is pretty adorable and funny because she has a little lisp now. The first tooth she lost while we were at a friend's birthday party. She was eating a piece of pizza when it fell out. So, dad took her to the bathroom to clean her and the tooth up. He carefully cradled the tooth in his hand and turned on the water, but as soon as that water hit his hand the tooth was out of his hand and down the drain. Aspen was quite upset so dad ended up having to write the tooth fairy an explanatory note of why there was no tooth under her pillow that night. It was pretty funny! Then, the second tooth had been loose since she lost the first one and was literally hanging on by a thread. So, I convinced her one day to just let me put a napkin around it and see how loose it was. I gave that baby one swift pull and out it came. Tears followed because How DARE I take her tooth out of her mouth without her saying it was ok?! She was fine with it after the tooth fairy left her 2 dollars for that tooth!
Mr. Chett turned 9 months old and is STILL not crawling! He is such a lazy baby! Ha ha! He is so incredibly, adorably handsome though! He likes to play peek-a-boo and clap and roll all around on the floor.
Hadley is the same old, crazy Hadley. She is so much fun! She finds some way each and every day to make us all laugh till our stomachs hurt.
Brevin, his brother and their dad went hog hunting this month down in Arkansas. They had fun even though they didn't get to shoot at anything.
My birthday was this month and it was great! Brevin took the day off work and stayed home with the daycare kids while I went and had lunch with my mom.
Then, he went and got a cake and had the girls decorate it for me.
I even got to go have a girls night with a friend that weekend. It was a good birthday.
At the end of the month I got the news that my Grandma Suzie had passed away. so, my brother and I packed up and headed out for Utah to go to the funeral. I will go more into detail next month.
