So, yesterday I was in the kitchen doing the dishes, the girls were in the front room playing, the morning was going great...or so I thought. All of a sudden I hear this blood-curdling scream come from the front room, it was Aspen. Then she yells, "HADLEY, GET OFF OF ME!!!!" So, I run to the front room thinking that Hadley would have tackled Aspen trying to play with her or something. This is what I found...

Growing up too fast!!

Today was Aspen's first day of preschool! She was so excited to go this morning, she kept asking me if it was time to leave yet. She goes to a preschool just down the road from our house called Exploration Station. If you ask her where she goes to school she will say at the "Red Door"...

It is actually so close that Hadley and I are going to be able to walk there to pick her up in the afternoon. (We will take the wagon so we don't have any tantrums.) For now, she is in the 3-year-old class but she is going to do her placement testing to see if she can move up to the 4-year-old class, which is set up more like an actual Kindergarted class, soon. She gets to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 3:30.

I am so excited for her to be able to interact with more kids her age and to keep feeding her mind that is so hungry for new and exciting things! I am so grateful that she is so willing and eager to learn new things! I hope all goes well for her and that she enjoys her time there...I know she will!

Funniest Movie EVER!!

Aspen and Hadley were getting ready to watch a movie (Tinkerbell) and a frog popped up on the screen before the movie started playing and this is the result...

Apparently Hadley can't/won't say movie (boobie), yes (nodding head), or frog (fog). We had a good laugh at this for quite a while!

5-yr. Anniversary trip to Kansas City, MO

Our anniversary is on August 10th (tomorrow). So, this past weekend, Brevin and I took the opportunity to go to Kansas City for a little bit of a get-away. It was a BLAST! We stayed at the Westin Hotel at the Crown Center...fabulous! We stayed on the 15th floor overlooking downtown Kansas City!

This was our hotel. Our room was four rows from the top and the seventh window from the right. We put some sticky notes on the window that spelled "HI" but they were backwards and really hard to see in the picture...lol

We also went to Worlds of Fun, which was AWESOMELY FUN!

The girls got to stay with Grandma White on Friday night and Grandma Johnson on Saturday night. They had a blast going swimming and hanging out with their grandparents...thanks so much to you both!!

While at Worlds of Fun, Brevin and I found the perfect gift to bring home to the girls...

They LOVED it...and still do!

We also went to a thing called the Power and Lights District in downtown Kansas City one night. There was a lounge area in the middle of about 20 bars that we just hung out around and watched people dancing. All of these pictures were taken before a lot of people showed up but it was a lot of fun to see all the people around us acting like idiots because most of them were drunk off their butts! There was one guy that was a pretty awesome dancer. I tried to upload the video we took of him but I don't think it worked. It was pretty cool though.

I am so grateful to have such an awesome husband and to have been able to spend five years with him! Time has just flown by and I know it is because we have so much fun together, with eachother and with our two awesome girls! I love you so much Brevin! It has been the greatest 5 years of my life so far! Looking forward to spending eternity with you!
